Bunk Beds

With the new little guy on the way we had to make room..... so Luke and Caleb will be sharing a room and they get to have bunk beds! They are both excited. Right now Luke is still in his crib so we can sleep the whole night but he will move in with Caleb shortly. Until then they use the section where Luke's bed will go as a cave. Even Aunt Stacey likes it!

Pirates

Today Caleb got his photo taken with Jack Sparrow! Yeah,it was only a cardboard cut out, but he loved it just the same. He even got a tatoo at the little carnival. We had fun and good snacks, then headed to a church bar-b-que. Busy day the boys have already passed out!

Camping with a little clamming on the side!

We headed down south to do some clamming, the boys and I have never clamming so we were very excited. Caleb had been counting down the days to go to the beach and camping.

Both boys loved the fire at the camp site. We slept in the tee pee and after clamming Jarrett and Caleb took a nap. can you find Caleb?

Sweet!

Our motley clamming crew, Marty, Kiana, Stacey and Autumn!!!

This was Caleb, Luke and my first time clamming. It was fun. Caleb and Luke just loved being at the ocean chasing birds, looking for shells, and digging in the sand.

The Butte ~ You Find Out Who Your Friends Are....

Autumn and Shaphan invited us to hike the Butte with them. You can imagine the break neck speed with a 6 1/2 month pregnant lady! Caleb is a natural trail blazer, he self appointed himself to be in charge of everyone and lead the way. He also chose a special walking stick for everyone as well.

We all had a great time except the wind was ripping at the top blowing dust everywhere, thus the nasty dirt grim on everyone.

When we got to the bottom I realized I was missing my jacket that had my phone and keys. Autumn and Shaphan ran all the way back up to the top and retrieved my lost jacket for me. What great friends.... it doesn't end there, then they topped it all off with bring the boys and me dinner. What sweet hearts!

Love, dirt in your teeth, and great friends,

Heart Run 2007

This was our fourth heart run. And RUN Caleb did... it is amazing what the spirit of competition can do. Good thing Aunt Stacey was there to keep a close eye on him.

Love and dead batteries in the camera,

Last Winter Season Trip to the Cabin

The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. But it was our last trip of the winter season. We will be able to head out again after the lake defrosts, around
the beginning of June.

Luke cracked me up when he fell asleep on the ride out and we just laid him on the seat while we stopped.

Love and springs around the corner,

Water Front?

Break up has come and gone, but for about a week our street and driveway were underwater.

Caleb wanting to be the "captain" of any ship thought we should get the canoe out. So he recruited Aunt Stacey and Luke as his trusty crew.

Now we just need everything to green up!

Love and big puddles,

Happy 2nd Birthday Luke!

Luke celebrated his second birthday. The theme was Cars since he loves playing with cars and trucks. Now that Luke is two he is speaking a lot. He knows all his animals and the sound they make. The Musk Ox is his favorite. He knows all his body parts and loves to name them. He loves to eat anything sweet. His standard answer to any question is "No". He loves to play with his brother and will often put up his fists and ask "Do you want a piece of me?" He is 36 1/2 inches and weighs 34.8 pounds. We love every ounce.

The boys in California

I think this is the sweetest photo of Luke, he went into the garage and put on papa's hat and just hung out. Just like papa would have. Cherished memories.

The boys loved visiting Great Grandma Gladys and her bird Timmy.

The boys enjoyed the California sunshine. It was hard to keep them out of the water.
