Dad

This is the most difficult post I hope I ever have to make and it is a remembrance of a few things about my dad who passed away on March 14, 2007. What can I say except I wish there was more time, he loved us his family and grandchildren, he loved visiting Alaska. My dad was a wonderful man who could fix anything, an avid reader, enjoyed his favorite foods, loved his car races, fishing, and Harley's. May you be at peace dad, we love you and will miss you.

Oh Amber,
It broke my heart to talk to you yesterday on the phone. What is it that they say, Friendship doubles our happiness and divides our sorrows. Somehow it's just not the same over the phone. I just want to climb through the phone lines and give you a great big hug and cry through a few kleenexs with you. We are thinking of you, Jarrett, the boys and espically your sweet mom at this time.
Your daddy was a sweet man and he will be missed, but he knows that he was loved by you.
Love you...take care of that sweet baby boy. I'm pulling for the name Parker...he he he I think you need a trip to Texas!!
Love,
Jenn

My heart just sinks for you Amber. I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I know what a great person he was and how close all of you were.

WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH. I wish you and your family didn't have to go through this pain. Sending you hugs and keeping you in our prayers.

Dear Amber,
I'm so sorry and I know that doesn't make you feel any better - only time can do that. I just wanted to tell you how much fun I always had with your Dad at Thanksgiving time telling our war stories of cancer treatments and prednisone eating binges. I will always remember him with a smile. You are a lucky girl to have such loving parents. Give your mom my love.

Amber,

That was such a nice tribute. We all have our memories of your Dad and will miss him very much. I have to say that your Dad was always so proud of you and really did look forward to visiting you in Alaska, I think he would have considered moving to Alaska eventually. Unfortunately, time is the only thing that lessens the hurt and emptiness we feel. Memories will be forever.

Be sure to get some bagels (ha ha) for Caleb.

Hugs and Kisses,
Love you,
Aunt Sharon
