Concrete

We decided to add a concrete deck out the back door. Caleb was so excited to see the concrete truck, I know the driver had to be impressed that a three year old knew all the part of the truck. He wanted to help so bad, it was his job to help the concrete down the chute with his shovel... He is a very hard worker just like his dad!

Luke was in his outside playpen the back of the truck. As soon as he got out he walked across the concrete, leaving little footprints, luckily it was easily fixed. As was the big dog prints as well! It's always interesting around here!

Memorial Day Camping

We decided to go camping for Memorial Day. This would be my first camping trip with the boys in a tent without dad, he was working. So we kept it close to home. Aunt Stacey went along as moral support. Good thing, because before we could even unload the truck Caleb was testing out going to the bathroom in the great outdoors. Camping was quite an adventure!

Geocaching

So I heard about a new little adventure geocaching....and we love advernture so we gave it a try.

Caleb and Luke loved it they just love being out in the woods hitting trees and tearing things apart.

Caleb started with the GPS then Jarrett took it over, when we got the exact point we the cache was suppose to be located Jarrett and I were discussing where we thought the possible cache was and Caleb started yelling, "Hey guys, I found something here!" Since he was about thirty feet away we though he was pulling our leg but sure enough he pulled out the cache. Jarrett and I we just laughing. Here we are analyzing all the factors and Caleb finds it. All the caches are hidden in plain sight. It is a great family adventure!

Sword Hat!

Caleb has been cracking us up! He wonders around with the....."Sword hat". That trusty little opening in the back of your baseball hat is the perfect size to hold a sword. It is really funny when he has the sword in his hat he walks with perfect posture!! Never a dull moment.

Easter

Happy Easter!!
Caleb and Luke had a great Easter. Miss Autumn and Mr. Shaphan made the crew a yummy breakfast and hid special eggs for Caleb and Luke. Then to church. After church the boys took a nap, I wrote two papers and Stacey hid eggs for the boys. After they woke up they hunted eggs and made tomb bread. It was great. I love when Stacey and Caleb bake she always make him wear safety goggles. What a special aunt.

CATS

Jarrett and I went to the musical CATS, it was a Valentine's gift. We got a sitter, went to dinner and the
Anchorage Performing Arts Center. It was great. I've loved this musical since I went will Miss Jess in the sixth grade.

Those of you who know Jarrett know that he really loves me if he is willing to go a musical and watch grown men and women dress up and crawl around like cats! Thanks Sweetie!

Stacey came over to visit and play with us!! She is so fun and helpful. Her and Caleb decided to bake, they created pinapple and carrot bread. I must say it was very good.

While the two chefs were working, Caleb had to take a break and eat some pinapple. Stacey was just trying to hurry and complete the recipe before all the ingredients were gone! What a pair!

Sledding Again

We went sledding again! This time we decided to head up to our favorite spot Hatcher's Pass. We went with Aunt Stacey, Autumn and Shaphan, they took care of Caleb. It got a little to cold for Luke so we ended up watching from the truck.

Caleb went on the sled by himself and as he says, "I went far!"
