Sledding!

We got some fresh snow, so we headed over to the school to go sledding. This was Luke's first trip! We had a great time. Caleb and Aunt Stacey even had a snow fight! Caleb also like to clear the snow off the slides. With all his snow clothes on he flew down the slide, head first! Of course!

Ouch!

Well, we had a few things get hurt around here! First, Luke took his first fall and hit the sharp corner of the banister, he ended up with a scratch on his eyelid and his cheek.

Then my plant got hurt pretty bad by Caleb and that darn sword. He told me not to worry, that Santa would bring me a new plant at Christmas!

What am I going to do with these guys?

H 2 Oasis ~ A Slice of Summer

So that's my guy hanging from the bar, I'm sure it is against the rules and dangerous......perfect as far as Caleb is concerned.


We enjoyed a little delicious slice of summer today. We went to the indoor water park and enjoyed 85 degree weather in our swimsuits. It was pure joy! Caleb went down every slide even the "big" one.


Luke was such a trooper he really enjoyed helping me take pictures and hanging in the pool.

Caleb's 1st Ice Skating Experience

Caleb has been talking about ice skating since my mom took him out on the puddle last year. He puts on his skates and walks around the living room pretending to skate. So we decided to give it a try.

We went to the sports complex it was great! It took Jarrett and Caleb 30 minutes to get around the rink twice. By then Caleb was pooped. He fell quite a few times but was a very good sport. Next time I will actually get a picture where you can see Caleb on the ice! You think I would get this down!

New Years!

We had a great New Year's Eve. Caleb loved the fireworks and his own sparkler. If you'll notice in the photo he was so excited he put his sweatshirt on backwards. He just kept saying, "Fire, Fire!" I think he tried to torch my lilac tree, that boy! I know it is irresponsible parenting for us to let him play with fireworks but he loved it and he was wearing safety glasses! Like that makes it any better.

I love our 'hood, there were fireworks all night. It was beautiful. Alaskan love fireworks in the winter.

Our buddy showed up with a few bottles of champagne so I had my first taste of Don Perion!

We topped it all of with a few session of Dance Dance Revolution!
